4 out of 5 stars Chasing Harry Winston   July 1, 2008
Everyone likes to dream from time to time and every young woman wants to have fun. We all have been there, when we dreamed about having any man we fancied, having fun with our girlfriends or just dreaming of that perfectly shaped diamond ring.Chasing Harry Winston was just like that, it offered what every woman needs on those mellow days, when we are feeling down.It was an enjoyable read and I am looking forward to read Everyone worth knowing.

3 out of 5 stars Not yet read it, but I have been put off by the very small print!   June 29, 2008
I think I might leave this book for a while, I opened it and found that the small print was far too small to read comfortably! Judging by the reviews anyway, I doubt I should even bother really! Oh Dear.

1 out of 5 stars one hit wonder   June 27, 2008

They say everyone has a book in them--for Weisberger it was Devil Wears Prada. Even that book seems better than it was because many people know it only from the entertaining film it became.

Her two books since DWP have been lousy. Publishers are probably dumb enough, and greedy enough, to keep giving her big advances. (Her cover art is always similar to DWP, trying to trade on its success.)

Weisberger has proved a one-hit wonder.

1 out of 5 stars Not great   June 26, 2008
I liked Devil Wears Prada movie (had not read book) so thought I would give book a go. But could just not get into this. The characters were so shallow and 1 sided. Are you not supposed to like the main characters in books like this? Adriana was the most awful, shallow, spoilt, self centered woman I have ever had the misfortune to read about. The other 2 main females were weak, shallow and not at all interesting or easy to relate to. Glad I don't know anyone like them! Hope next book is better.

3 out of 5 stars Does what it says on the tin.   June 23, 2008
I bought this book cause I enjoyed the film The Devil Wears Prada and I wanted to read some easy reading chick lit.
Basically I thought it was just an average bit of chik lit. It wasn't great but it certainly wasn't as bad as some of the other reviews say. I think may be some peoples expectations were too high and now this book is getting unfair backlash.
I did find the book hard to get into but after about 50 pages I really became interested in the characters individual stories.
I say give this book a go but don't give it a fair go!!!!
