This isn't the best guide for Adwords that i own but it will prove useful for the buyer to get the feel of how PPC operates.
My advice would be to not rely solely on this book as an Adwords reference as there is newer more updated info in the marketplace.

Looks comprehensive and should be but virtually ignores the vital importance of Quality Score and problem of being outbid so rendering your keywords inactive. It's a lot more complex than the author makes out.

This is the first book I read on Google Ads and it's still the best I have ever read.

When I set-up my first Google Ad campaign, I made all the classic mistakes and spent hundred of pounds without getting any new customers. Then I bought the E-book version, spent one whole afternoon reading it and went back to the campaign inspired.

I followed his suggestions and guidelines and created a Google Ad campaign that worked - my cost per click went down by two thirds, the number of clicks went up 10 times and we started selling.

When it came out as a real book, I bought it and I still re-read it from time to time to check I'm doing the right things and I recommend it regularly.

I purchased this book along with another bookt on the same issue. This one is a clear winner. This is a light-hearted guide for internet marketers and website owners that demystifies search engine marketing and provides practical advice for success. Getting your site indexed is the most fundamental, yet one of the most challenging, aspects to search engine marketing. This book does the job.
I now use Adwords in a much more economical manner than before. This book has no silver bullets but it offers instead, is the most comprehensive treatment of the key Adwords success issues.

The primary warning is that Google AdWords rules change faster than a book can be published, and they have changed since this book was issued. However, the book still provides valuable concepts and ideas for online ad campaigns. Learn how to select the right keywords, write copy, test your ads, modify campaigns based on collected data, set a budget and reduce the chances of attracting the wrong prospects. We believe this book gives readers a better understanding of how to work with search engine ads.
