 In the great traditon of Australian comedy: a most entertaining evening at home March 21, 2008

We only recently discovered Caroline Reid and her fantastic "Pam Ann". So we had to have this DVD about her London performance. It was just hilariously funny and great to see how she interacted with the audience. If you had a really bad day, just watch this at home in the evening and your day will end with a huge smile. My favorite is properly Lily the Chinese flight attendance. Caroline Reid just has it what makes a great comedian. The DVD is the next best one can do if one can not go to one of her performances. 5 stars is actually not enough, but that is the best one can do here.

Anyone working in the Airline Industry (or knows someone who does) will already have heard all about the infamously fabulous Trolley Dolly Pam Ann and if they have not managed to have been lucky enough to catch her live on stage - will have been told how amazingly funny she is.
This is her first - and long awaited - DVD. It has some funny bonus features as well as the full stage show. There are no doubts as to her abilities as a comic / stand up. She interracts very well with the audience and holds their attention well (but therein lies the problem, if I am being a little picky, of the DVD for me : the whole atmosphere of being in a Pam Ann audience does not translate as much and the language borders on obscene at times - I actually cringed when watching it for the first time with the in-laws over xmas ?!?)
Caroline Reid id a camp comic genius though - I hope she can evolve her material and keep her fans keen with fresh routines and gags in the future.
If you are gay, love camp, travel a lot or like over the top performances - you will love this (just cover your ears if easily offended and be careful who you watch it with !!)

Those of us who have been to dozens of her live shows, have no surprise in revisiting her excellent humour - A must if you have not seen her

I don't really like comedy DVDs, preferring to get out and see people live, but last night, we all gathered round my friends TV, with far too much bad shiraz, and laughed. and laughed, and laughed, and laughed. If you've ever ended up at your destination, whilst your luggage visits kazhakstan, If you've ever had an elbow crushed by a drinks trolley, if you've ever wondered how much bitchyness lay behind the smiles. get this.
I've just ordered my own copy, so I can show my friends. and two more for my favorite handbag holders(you know who you are, so don't ruin your presents lovvies ^_^)

This is hysterical and if you have ever flown on a plane you will find this very, very funny. Pam Ann just hits the nail on the head with her airline comedy. I had never heard of Pam Ann unitil recently until a friend told me about her and I am a total fan now and if you want plenty of laughs then I highly recommend this DVD.
