The multi award-winning and critically acclaimed comedy returns to DVD for a fifth series. Peep Show continues to delve into the innermost thoughts of Mark (David Mitchell) - the conventional one seething with inner rages and desires - and Jeremy (Robert Webb) - the loose cannon full of expressed rages and desires - but seething with even more rage on the inside.

Mark and Jeremy are entering their 30s with failed marriages behind them, few prospects, and a sense of impending crisis. Time is running out for them to sort out their lives. Jeremy's mother appears on the scene and it soon becomes clear why he's ended up as he is. Mark goes speed dating, and discovers money can buy you love. Jeremy and Superhans (Matt King) play at a Christian Rock Festival; the flat suffers multiple burglaries and the boys endure their worst ever night out - at the theatre.

Extras:
BEHIND THE SCENES with Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong guiding you through the production process, from how they get ideas for the series, read throughs and rehearsals with cast, to shooting on set and on location to the final product!

PEEP SHOW RELATIONSHIP TREE - your guide to whose slept with whom throughout all the Peep Show series'… this is a trip through Mark and Jeremy's love lives throughout series 1-5, with clips and graphics to explain the various connections!

DELETED SCENES

SOPHIE'S POV - existing scenes from episode 6 written by Sam and Jesse from Sophie's point of view.

5 out of 5 stars "You're Never Alone With A Mobile Phone ..."   May 8, 2008

Five series in now and, for me, the Peep Show is still the best thing on British television. After 4 seasons, nevermind 5, you might expect a slight dip in quality, as everything you love about the show slowly fades and the brilliant characters become caricatures. Thankfully, this hasn't happened and the latest batch of episodes is as funny as ever.

No other show makes me scream the house down with laughter or has at least 20 memorable quotes per episode, but this isn't what makes The Peep Show so special. You fall in love with the show because you relate so strongly to the plight of these two young men, as they try to make their way through the trials and tribulations of love and life in modern Britain. Mark is reserved, inhibited and uptight, while Jeremy says and does all the things we wished we had the nerve to say and do. The two main characters may be very different, but they both, in turn, reveal all the anxieties and insecurities that plague us when we try to get on in life and/or find someone to settle down with. They drag these neurotic grey areas of life into the light with intelligent, insightful and downright hysterical dialogue and secret narrated thoughts ... and THIS is what makes the show special.

5 out of 5 stars Brilliant - another series...maybe Jes will marry Big Suse this time?   December 23, 2007

Hooray - another series! I had to rub my eyes when I saw Series 5 was available on DVD - I thought 'I can't remember even watching it on TV!' Can't wait for it to be on TV and to be available on DVD.....the best british comedy since Vic and Bob in the 90's.....can't wait for series 2 of That M&W Look!

That's smart work from Mitchell and Webb only 3 months until Series 5 is released on DVD apparently!
I thought Series 1-4 were all gms and I can't believe they must almost be done filming it and I can't wait for it to be released
Long Live Peep Show!
