NOT AS ADVERTISED! December 27, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this some months ago and thought it was a bargain. it is well presented and nice to see the series again.
However the box states that there are 17 episodes. There are in fact only 12. Five hours are missing. Frustratingly one of these is the second part 'Jungle Madness' a two parter that ends the series.
I have written to Caiman twice and got this reply: "This is to inform you that unfortunately we are unable to request a replacement or refund since too much time has passed since your order has been shipped. We apologize for this inconvenience."
The situation is the same as for any goods that have been purchased and proven to not be as described. The fact that it's taken me some months to find the defect makes no difference. The box set is not as advertised and I should have got a refund or a replacement with a set that does contain the contents as advertised.
In the UK this contravenes the Sale and Supply of Goods Act 1994. However since Caiman are in America...?
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!
