This dvd was good but wasn't as good as i had expected it shows alot of things that happened which were not shown on the actuall programme itself.

I loved series three of DOI. Best yet, so of course when the DVD was announced, I ordered it immediately. Its very enjoyable especially if you are a fan of the series, but I also found it frustrating in many ways too. I really do wish the whole thing was produced differently... i.e, make it a 2 disc set with disc one consisting of all episodes IN FULL of the series, (as opposed to highlights which we get here) and disc two consisting of behind the scenes and special features, equally important. If you are a fan of a particular skating couple, you may not get to see more than a minute of them on the highlights, while others you dont have that much interest in are given ENDLESS time, and thats where having a disc dedicated to all episodes in full of the series allows the viewers to enjoy every moment there was available on screen of whatever skaters were particularly enjoyed. A hint here..... if Michael Underwood was not quite your cup of tea, then the time given to the endless saga of his injured ankle and hospital visit may well cause you a frown !! Equally Linda Lusardi, bless her, she is lovely, but did we really need what almost amounted to an entire Casualty episode with her foot woes !!!! Someone like the lovely Sarah Green who bless her only featured in the first episode before being voted off, barely gets a look in on the DVD , and its only fair viewers get to relive the entire experience.

I love these DVDs and have bought the previous two seasons and the live tour last year.
However, I do wish that ITV would out a bit more on the DVDs not just a breakdown of the season. Maybe a few more of Torvill and Deans numbers. I dont know if anyone else minds that...
However, in terms of the DVD that you do get it does have great extras on it, you get to see behind the scenes about how this show works and the relationships between the celebrities and their skaters with Chris and Jayne thrown in. All in all for the hardcore dancing on ice fans, this DVD is a must.

I got completely hooked on this tv programme halfway through season 2 & season 3 was even better,although i missed the'skate-offs'due to my work shifts.Can't wait to catch up on the stuff i missed out with the dvd of this absolutely brilliant series.Torvill & Dean are gods!!

I cant wait for this dvd to be released I've been watching it every week on itv 1 and can't wait to buy the dvd when it come's out, so i can watch it over and over again! Its defintley the best series on itv 1 yet, with amazing contestants and professional skaters! and not forgetting the outstanding Torvil and Dean! I love it!!
