I regret buying this case as it is too small for the actual camera and you have terrible problems fighting to get the camera and its strap in and out. The case has its own strap. A better design would lay the camera across, rather than have to put it in on its side and would make use of the camera strap. Everytime you take the camera out, you are left with the problem of trying to hold the case.
 So pleased I bought it June 14, 2008
Sorry to be another "I too was worried......" but again after reading all the recent reviews sent for this case and i'm so glad i did. The build is great and the camera went in fine first time..it fits perfectly, and the side pocket for spare card and battery is perfect fit too.
It is so much better i feel to have a case fit the camera perfectly than have it rattling about in a much larger case. I am more than happy with the case and the service from Amazon.
If you are concerned the camera won't fit or it's a tight fit, don't be, it fits in perfectly

There really are no issues with the camera not fitting - it will become obvious to you which position to place the camera in the case. The fit, with shoulder strap, is snug but certainly is not inadequate.
Another pocket would have been useful. There is only one pocket and with the camera requiring 4 x AA bateries (if you like to carry a spare set) there is little other room for spare XD/SD cards, your USB cable, lenses, etc.
Nice sturdy shoulder strap and fixings, however.
Depends how fussed you are about having a Fuji branded case to match your nice new Fuji camera, but given its price I would'nt necessarily recommend this case.
I recommend you buy something with more storage options. Not the best thing to shop online for really... you need to be 'touchy feely' with such an item (sorry Amazon).

Insufficient space to accept camera straps comfortably. Would have thought that Fuji could have provided better design. Especially tight if you fit a lens filter. Would recommend that you look at other options.

Cannot for the life of me understand what others are saying about difficulties fitting the S5700 into this case.
It fits perfectly without any struggle or effort whatsoever!!
The case walls are well padded, the strap substantial, the closure flap is both zipped and velcroed and the little side pocket is just right for batteries and spare cards.
Not cheap for a plastic case, but well designed, well made and perfect for the job.
Also delivered ultra fast by Amazon, (ordered Saturday - delivered Tuesday despite the Monday in between being a national holiday).
