I bought this with the intention of making a replica model of the motiontracker from the movie 'Aliens'.
After 20 years or so, things change orare discontinued. Not so for this item, it's exactly the same model usedby the propmakers.
So, seems to be a fine slide viewer, a neat designthat's stood up to the test of time pretty admirably.
But even betterif you're a film buff with an interest in recreating movie hardware.
