Why all the whinging - mine works fine! November 27, 2007 I have a brick built house (including internal walls) with the units upstairs and downstairs - and it works fine! Slightly intricate set up but otherwise a great buy!
AEI Gold X4 Digisender November 8, 2007 The transmitter and receiver are about 8 meters away from each other, on the same ground floor and the picture is awful. Just walking around the room affects the already bad picture. Putting it back in the box asap and returning for a refund.
Better than most, but still not perfect October 6, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Better than the cheapest models (I tried an All-For-One unit first). Good picture, but kept being broken up by intermittent, unknown interference. In the end, I decided to spend an extra 30 and get aerial points added to two of my rooms.
Don't believe the hype August 1, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The picture and sound quality is excellent if the sender and receiver are located in the same room or through a paper thin wall. However in my own house (a modern house, so the ceilings/floors are very thin) I couldn't get a clear picture with the boxes 5m apart with no electronic devices in between, only the floor between the ground and 1st floor of my house.
The hype in the instructions about how far the signal will reach is basically a complete exaggeration.
No substitute for wires July 16, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This product will work fine if you don't need it to send signals very far or through solid brick walls. If you want to watch telly in your bedroom but don't want the wires forget it. I think its supposed to be the best on the market but I certainly wouldn't recommend it unless you live in a flat, my bedroom is directly above my living room and the signal quality is very poor, most days a programme cannot be watched.
