expected just a better card but.. July 9, 2008 shame..didn't work with my nikon coolpix 4600..doesn't even say 'card error' just 'out of memory', did the format...any ideas?
Excellent Capacity Card for Satnav July 8, 2008 Even though there are supposedly no standard 4GB cards that aren't SDHC, this is one exception that I am certainly glad to have discovered.
I have been using this SD card for my TomTom One XL for about 7 months now and it is has been great. I now have all the following maps on one SD card: Western Europe, UK & Ireland, USA & Canada, Eastern Europe, Australia, South Africa, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan.
When you get to your destination, you can switch maps without ever having to keep switching between cards which makes my TomTom device a truly global one. You just pick up a hire car at the airport and GO!!! The only reason I have not given it 5 stars is that sometimes when switching from one map to another, the access time can be a bit slow (up to 2 minutes) but once you are in the other map, everything is back to normal so I am not really complaining. Loads better than trying to fiddle with a paper maps.
Works with Canon A620 June 29, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This card works a treat with my Canon A620 which will not recognise hc cards. I can store 1000 images at maximum resolution.
Excellent Value 4gb SD Card June 29, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My iPaq H2200, Oregon ATC3K, Panasonic SDR-H40 and Toshiba Satelite Lap Top, use this card with no problems, the iPac is old, the Tosh is brand new. the cameras have no problems; the ATC3K is an action cam, it's used the card in very harsh conditions. The card read/write performace is good enough for me, (older, smaller capacity cards I own, are not any faster). I cannot fault an SD card that cost me less than 10 and isn't even listed by it's own manufacturer. I researched the card generics and it shouldn't work but by golly it does a great job.
Did not work with IPAQ h4350! June 14, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Having read the reviews above, it seemed that this card worked with older IPAQs, so I give it a go with my h4350... sadly it wasn't recognised. So beware...
