Good July 19, 2008 I have this to share my 360/PS3 HDMI connection.
360 worked perfectly on 720p/1080p PS3 worked perfectly on 720p/1080i but on 1080p there are white spotty flashes on screen. Found this a bit disappointing.
Works great for me July 7, 2008 My TV only has two HDMI inputs but I have three HDMI devices. This works perfectly for me as I can have one device to the telly and the other two sharing the switcher.
Not only that, it is in the Logitech Harmony database so you can use your universal remote to switch inputs instead of the supplied remote. You can also power it via USB if your TV has a spare port.
Make sure you buy an HDMI cable though. Rather than having one built-in (which might not suit your setup) you are free to buy your own which is only a fiver a metre typically.
Note: I'm not using SkyHD+ so I can't comment on problems with that, but it's great with my PS3 and Xbox 360.
Does what it's meant to do! June 2, 2008 Works well, simple to set up. Have got my PS3 and Tiscali+ box running through this tiny box with a great picture and no problems.
Does the job - very pleased April 23, 2008 Very easy to setup. As per the manual, I connected my PS3 to port1 (don't know if this is important), and my V+ box to port 2, and then connected to my Samsung LE32R74BDX. I am using the USB port on my V+ to power the Trilink, and it all works, just as I would expect. No visible difference in display quality.
I'm not using the IR extender, as I am happy to press the button on the unit to select the port when I switch on the PS3.
When I looked on Amazon a week ago, I am sure this cost around 26, but when I ordered it was only 17.98! Happy about that!
Easy to use April 21, 2008 5 minutes after getting this I was up and running. Connected my PS3 and HD-DVD to 2 of the 3 inputs. Then connect output to HDMI socket on TV. Plug in and away you go. Using the remote to switch from the PS3 to HD-DVD inputs works seemlessly. Having a USB power source as well as the mains is a good idea as well. Best thing is the IR remote extender so the device is nicely hidden away. Excellent device.
