Item itself is worth 5 stars June 1, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I've owned this Sandisk MicroSD 2GB with 3-in-one adaptor for a few months now, and it makes such a difference to my phone! I've only tried one of the adaptors (the larger one that slots into the SD card slot of my laptop) and it works perfectly every time i.e. plug-and-play so it loads up as an extra 'drive' in 'My computer'.
I've not had any problems with the card and did not need to format it before I used it.
p/s: I did pay more for the postage than the actual item itself, but the item is worth it and deserves 5 star!
A decent card. February 18, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This card functions perfectly in my nokia n95, and also read in a media card slot on a vista pc using the SD adapter with no problems.
Please remember to SAFELY remove the drive after use - i've seen countless reviews of external media drives and mediums now with people saying that their cards have become unreadable and i can guarantee that they have damaged it the one time they neglected to click "safely remove this device" It's there for a reason :)
File transfers are decent and this card with the SD adaptor is Windows ReadyBoost capable.
After scanning no areas were found on the card and i'm always amazed how a card smaller than a fingernail cn contain neigh on billions of binary digits.
The 4/5 stars is because on buying the card the postage was 4.50 which i consider a little bit excessive for an item with hardly any weight at all. Also its only as wide and tall as an envelope so there is nearly no reason it could not have come in standard first class post.
That being said a decent card and i'm confident it will survive for a year at least.
Lost 1gb after format January 13, 2008 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
I trusted in Sandisk as a good brand but after formatting the card after a few weeks use, i lost half of its size (1gb from 2gb) that cannot be recovered no matter what i use to read it, format it or analyze it (with intermediate-advanced pc knowledge). Not happy wouldnt buy Sandisk again.
Card works fine, no problems December 23, 2007 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
The card works fine in my HTC S730 Smartphone, and it also works fine in the large adapter in my laptop where I copied loads of mp3 files onto it. I haven't got anything that uses the mid size adapter so cannot comment. Postage may seem high, but overall I thought this was a good deal compared with other suppliers.
Great card, useless adapter July 1, 2007 63 out of 67 found this review helpful
This is a minute SD card, and it gives my Nokia N95 phone an amazing 2GB for storing music - about 500 songs.
It does however completely fail to work with the adapter. I've tried it in about 5 different machines, and it's failed in all of them. It will only work in the phone and to a PC via a USB connection - slowing it down, and making it a lot less useful.
I'm also stunned that it costs 6 for postage - when it arrived it just had one second class stamp! Why so much?
Alas, as I need to use it in an SD slot, I've now had to go out and buy another card, and I've thrown this rather pointless one away.
