i have been happy with the reliability of this card but it is painfully slow between taking photos, im not sure if this is becasue of my camera (pentax optio 40) or if it is just a bad card there are mixed reviews for it! i am now looking ot buy a FAST memry card to replace it.
No problems whatsoever. October 5, 2005 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have three of these cards which I have been using with a Pentax Optio S5i over the last few months. I have found the cards to be extremely reliable and have experienced no problems whatsoever. The cards have worked perfectly and I would have no hesitation in buying more cards from this manufacturer. Looking at the comments of other reviewers, I can only suggest that there may be incompatability problems with certain cameras but certainly not the Pentax.
Bytestor Hi-Speed 66X SD Card 256MB September 16, 2005 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I didn't really know a lot about SD cards until I was given my first digital camera at Christmas. I was also given a PNY 128MB Secure Digital Card which is a really good SD card. My sister had twins back in May & I have taken lots of digital photo's of the girls & wanted to keep my SD card so I decided to buy another one. I tried a Bytestor Hi-speed 256mb SD card but it was not a good card & did not work in my digital camera. I had a funny green line across my camera screen & it was giving me an error message that there was 'no support'. I wouldn't advise anyone to buy Bytestor card but I have had no problems with the PNY 128MB or my new PNY 256MB SD card.
Same problem as others August 15, 2005 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
Bought to support Canon Ixus 50 (Great camera by the way). Card has given up the ghost - losing all photos!! Now need to return and get another make of card. Avoid this product!
Doesn't work well with Canon S2 July 21, 2005 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Card stopped working after 2 weeks & I was unable to retrieve any of my pictures. Amazon replaced card within a few days but I had the same problem with the second card within 2 weeks and I have now had a refund from Amazon. Doesn't seem to like Canon cameras.
