Product Description All the features of the iPod nano now come in an even more compact form ? with video functions to boot!Apple proudly presents the new and improved version of its nano player: the iPod nano, witha bold new designand a larger, brighter colour screen ?but that?s not all!The iPod nano offers a video function for viewing your favourite films in exceptional quality thanks to its unprecedented pixel count (204 dpi instead of 163 dpi for earlier Apple models). And the iPod nano continues to push the envelope for multimedia entertainment, with the ability to play video Podcasts!Even the interface has been modified to make it even more user-friendly and intuitive. The Cover Flow function, for example, displays the album cover of all the music titles stored in the player?s memory, so you can flip through your music library and find your favourite tracks quickly and easily. You?lleven be able to download games onto your iPod nano to serve as a distraction during those long commutes. It has a range of basic functional features, including a calendar, international clock and a stopwatch, too!But what is more astounding than all these features is the fact that the iPod nano is even more compact than its predecessors! But have no fear - its anodized aluminium and stainless steel body reflects the same stylish design that Apple iPods are known for, and the sound quality is still as amazing as ever! Let yourself go, with the iPod nano!

Wow July 20, 2008 What an item, purchased this for my wife while I got the Classic 80gb. It's such an amazing product with great sound quality and would say it is just slightly better than the classic in music quality but as with the classic, Apple has decided not to supply the sponge bits for the earphones so they tend to just slip out of your ears when walking around.
If you are thinking of watching movies on it I would go for the classic Ipod as it has a bigger screen and more juicy memory but for just playing your music collection it's great and it's so small like an after eight mint.
Wow... July 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I brought this iPod from another store, and adored it. It's now been passed onto my granddad who also loves it. If you need your music collection at your fingertips, buy this! At an extensive 2,500 songs and then some video to boot this really is a great little device! And so small!! I only passed this one on because I needed more GB - I watch a lot of movies, and brought the 160GB iPod Classic. But this little device is gorgeous - better in black in my opnion than any other colour (It doesn't scratch!)
THE SOUND IS PANTS July 11, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I normally try to write relatively keen, elaborate reviews alighting on some angle or other glossed over by the peer reviewers. But I'll keep this simple, because it's all you need to know about this sleek, good-looking slender little credit card of a gadget:
THE SOUND IS PANTS
If the quality of your sound matters to you, look elsewhere. The ZEN products, for instance, are superior for sound quality. Apple slipped up.
Best Music Machine I've Ever Had! July 8, 2008 I had my iPod for my birthday (16/3) this year and I absolutely love it! I have had many listening enjoyments out of this and I adore it, it is my most prized possession! Beware, sometimes the cover flow will turn into lines and songs won't play but all you need to do is go on iTunes, restore it to factory settings then put all your music back on.
Good quality portable speaker system required !! July 7, 2008 Ive just bought an 8gb ipod nano 3rd gen and want a good quality speaker system thats portable. I have looked into it and it appears the Bose sounddocks are not compat with the 3rd gen nano tho the sound dock II is portable, and the Klipsch iGroove or room groove although take the 3rd gen do not look like they are portable. does anyone know of a good quality speaker system for a 3rd gen nano that i can unplug and take to another room without having to rely on a mains power supply ? cheers Andy
