 mp3 funtion does not work June 29, 2008
Warning. the item only works as 4gb memory card with Vista and mac that I tried it with. It refuses to play or see any of the mp3 files.

I bought this player a while back and have been using it for @6 months. I actually bought three players. 1 for me 1 for the mrs and 1 for my mum. My mums didnt work and after two replacement units which both didnt work she gave up and got her money back. However the two remaining units have been working great. The headphones which come with the unit are ok, but i found a cheapish pair of ear canal sennheisers improves the situation. Sound quality is pretty good. The design with its pull off end and USB connector built in means its basically a glorified memory stick with a few buttons and a very small screen, (so you can use it as a memory stick). Also has a built in microphone for voice recording, but the results are of dubious quality. It does cool stuff like flashing different colours (for no apparent reason). The only gripe is that with such few buttons and the tiny screen it can be very time consuming finding the track you want. But with a bit of sensible organisation of tracks in folders (when plugged into your pc) its bearable. For the money its a bargain. One other problem is its so small I keep mislayng it.

At 19.99 its great. Has all the functions and comes with a usb ext lead, headphones even a battery.
