| Customer Reviews:
Kettle with dog whistle March 22, 2008 Very disappointing, the cheap, plastic whistle gave up the ghost within weeks (it gets dislodged by the steam pressure) and the novelty of watching over the kettle whilst it boiled quickly disappeared. Back to an electric kettle that can look after itself for me. Still gets 2 stars for looking cool though.
I though Kone made lifts... November 17, 2006 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
Mine's a grey one, really stylish and so practical. The shape (wide base) means the water heats up very quickly. If you are able to use it on an induction hob then you will find it boils water quicker than an electric kettle (saving energy). The whistle on mine works perfectly well, and it pours perfectly (but if you OVER-FILL the kettle, past the max indicator then you could have problems). Mine sits on the hob almost permanently, looks nice and no messy electric cables cluttering up the work space.
Sheer Elegance on the Kitchen Stove, in a variety of colours, at Amazon! August 17, 2006 14 out of 15 found this review helpful
Stylish enameled steel stove top kettle, suitable for all heat sources including ceramic hobs, which makes a pleasant change!
Typical brilliance from 'Le Creuset'. A kettle that looks the part! A shrill whistle gets your attention and this elegant kettle is so much more stylish than these dreadful 'modern day' kettles that seem to get more and more bizarre-looking and last less and less time if in a hard water area that ruins the element, hidden or otherwise!
