i do love denby stoneware. i own a large collection, including everything in the fresco pattern (lamps, vases, ashtrays and ornamental bowls), the bakewell pattern (salt pig, storage jars and baking utilities) and the russet pattern (cups, plates, casserole dishes, bowls - in fact, everything).
i love the jet stripes collection. you can see it in use when you watch the king family in "emmerdale". rosemary often made pots of coffee using it (before she got booted out of home farm)!
this style, which is up-to-date now, has the potential to become retro in years to come.
