You need to check out the Royal Doulton site first before purchase as their offers are wide ranging and can be better value than Amazon. Its sad to say this but it is true.

Royal Doulton's own website quote this set at 45 RRP, they also offer 2 sets for the price of one. I have always been happy with the price of everything I've bought from Amazon, but I'm glad I didn't buy this time, '70% Discount' NO WAY.
