Simply brilliant - this versatile Casserole Dish/Cocotte/French Oven is ideal for all sorts of recipes and my current favourite is from Sue Cutts, one of Le Creuset's consultants, who has a delicious recipe for this sized cocotte:-
`Double Chocolate Marbled Pound Cake',
making 16 slices -
on page 25, of her book entitled:-
`The Cast Iron Way to Cook'. or .....
for something completely different, you could refer to Le Creuset's `Great Recipe Ideas' leaflet which has the most delicious, moist recipe for `Apricot, Raisin and Pecan Cake', also baked in this size casserole.
Suitable for all heat sources, this casserole has the traditional `phenolic' knob which stays cool during hob-top use and is oven safe to 375F. Easy to use and clean, by hand, or pop in the dishwasher.
