 Dishwasher problem. June 27, 2008
So after owning a set for about 18-months, we changed our dishwasher powder to these new Tesco own-brand tablets. Within about three washes, the pans had gone the same way as reported by the first reviewer, namely that the outer coating had gone with the owrst around the rim and the base. We're taking them back later this week and we'll hand wash them from now on.

Although I haven't experienced the same as the above reviewer, I do not put my pans in the dishwasher because there is never enough room.
The outer coating of the pan scratches so easily they are an eayesore as I hang my pans on the wall(again no room elsewhere)
They are an average perfomance pan, not worth the money.

I'm surprised that Jamie Oliver has put his name to these 'quality' pans which claim to be 'dishwasher safe'. We bought the 3 pan set and after 2 weeks of use, the anodized outer coating starter to come off around the rim and small bare patches appeared on the outer coating. After returning the products to the retailer, after 3 weeks, the second set has started to do the same. Granted, this probably will not affect the performance of the pan, but when you are spending such a large amount on pans, you'd expect them to be durable and live up to their claims.
