The best Music of all times July 2, 2007 First, I didn't know who was David Bowie and what kind of tracks has he got. But, when both of my cousins and my sister singed it every time and my sister got a David Bowie CD, I listened to it. It was... wonderful. Now I know why are they collecting lyrics, pictures and CD-s from David Bowie & Trevor Jones. I only dislike Chilly Down and Within you, but my favourite tracks are Home at Last, Thirteen O'Clock and Underground; but I also like Hallucination, As the World Falls Down and Magic Dance tracks. The matter is just that I couldn't see the film yet but I DEMAND IT!
All the best songs of the film. November 20, 2006 2 out of 11 found this review helpful
What can I say? I've got Underground, and as the world falls down on my mp3 player thanks to this soundtrack. It's got all of Bowies best voiced tracks. And then the instrumentals make great music for any DND campaigns, or roleplaying nights you run!
You can relive the whole of Labyrinth without having to go through Bowies Crotch!
Enchanting August 5, 2006 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I love the film, and this soundtrack (so central to the movie) brings it all back. The magic of the soundtrack is enhanced by that of the film, and vice versa.
Even if you have never seen the film, there are still some beautiful pieces on here, worth hearing in their own right. I can heartilly recommend it!
Just superb July 25, 2006 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
So what is it, exactly, that gives Labyrinth its sheer brilliance? Is it the music, the story or David Bowie's domineering performance as Jared? It's hard to say, and the likely conclusion is that they all share the task of making a timeless classic, that nonetheless holds that 80s glamour. This movie could not be done today.
The soundtrack holds a tiny slice of the Labyrinth world. David Bowie is BRILLIANT. His songs make this album; superb, rocky interjections in an otherwise awesome bit of musical engineering courtesy of Trevor Jones (he does the 'non-Bowie' bits). This CD isn't just a soundtrack. It's an album in and of itself, and pure magic.

Great! September 23, 2005 9 out of 11 found this review helpful
In 1986 Jim Henson's wonderful movie, Labyrinth, came out. A very entertaining movie, Labyrinth featured many wonderful songs by the great David Bowie, and now you can own the soundtrack to that movie. This CD has twelve songs from the movie, all of which are excellent to listen to even if you haven't seen the movie. My favorite is the wonderful As The World Falls Down, which is actually one of my all-time favorite David Bowie songs. So, if you are a fan of David Bowie, or just a fan of great music, then you must get this CD. My family and I highly recommend it to you.
