Fails May 10, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
It seemed to work for the first 5 days, but then the cat(s) must of gotten used to it - They left a couple of messages 2m & 3m in front of the repeller. Also it is oversensitive and scares away birds as small as starling. It is not in-audible to humans either.
Disappointing fox repellent March 30, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've had this for a couple of months now. For the first two weeks or so this was effective but then I saw the usual neighbourhood cats sauntering up and down the garden path well within range apparently without a care in the world. The discovery of fox scats right by the "repeller" showed that either they are totally deaf or this repeller isn't so great as I had expected. However I haven't noticed cats using my vegetable patch as a lavatory so I am hoping that they at least have got the message.
works well March 21, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
got rid of my dog and cat proplem, I turn it off when children are around, as i could here it ever so slightly so did not want to take the risk. Woul advise this for anyone with cat/dog proplems. more humane than a shallow grave and a spade.
No More Cats January 15, 2008 24 out of 24 found this review helpful
Jolly pleased with this. Bought it from a local store at 30, did not know this was on Amazon at a cheaper price. Fed up with a neighbour's pet cats using my front garden to poo vast amounts. Cost me a fortune in short term remedies and repeated trips to the tip with large amounts of minging contaminated top soil. Also, my 26 month old grandson has walked by the mega sonic repeller with it switched on and shown no sign of awareness or distress (perhaps those claiming health hazards for their children should try buying a litter tray for their cats - might teach their kids citizenship as well as saving their neighbours money). There is, however, a distinct and welcome lack of cats on my garden, hurray.
