Stop Complaining May 13, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Everybody who says this game is a waste of money clearly haven't actually PLAYED the game. This is one of the most amazing games in the world. I some what agree how its overpriced, only because you have to get the set separately, but it is defiantly worth it. After a friends birthday party who brought the game from the US, i was hooked. I tried to get my fix through Guitar Hero, but it just did not cut it. The song list is vaster (than guitar hero), you cannot really get bored with four instruments to choose from, and if you get a bunch of kids who just hit puberty in one room screaming into the microphone, its quite good for the laughs. After I played it i started saving my money straight away, there was no stopping me, I MUST HAVE ROCK BAND. It is defiantly worth every penny of my money. I state again, the price might be high, but once you actually get it and start playing, you will think its a gift from god, and will pay any amount to get your hands on it.
5 * because it is THAT amazing
AVOID LIKE THE PLAUGUE!!! May 13, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Not only is this game incredibly late, it is also stupidly overpriced. EA need to be taught a lesson, so I encourage everyone who reads this to make sure this game is a commercial flop on the first week to force EA to rethink things over. Personally, I hope EA goes into bankrupcy so that mistakes like this can be avoided later on.
Even though this is the best party experience for our generation of gaming, the fact that the Wii, PS2 and PS3 counterparts are gonna be delayed even further doesn't make up for this blasphemy as this wasn't even an Xbox 360 exclusive in the US to begin with.
Avoid this game like anime fans avoid 4kids!
Boycott This Game May 11, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
6 Months later than America and double the price they have to pay is an absolute disgrace. Take action, Do Not Buy This Game.
If EA and Harmonix see a significant hit on their sales figures it may drive home to them that they cannot exploit the European market like this.
Go without this one game, or at least leave it for another 6 months/1 year, to send a message for the greater good.
How in the hell May 4, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Is this acceptable? Why is it we always loose out and get our wallets torn to shreds! Disgusting and I will not be buying this at anywhere near full RRP
