Too addictive! July 22, 2008 Well I have owned this game for 2 weeks now and i have never been so addicted to online play. The more you play and more you progress, the higher the rank you will become. If you want no life, but you want an amazing game, this is the one for you!
Very good sinlge player but great online July 6, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have spent more time playing this online than I have in the single player mode. I have seen alot of reviews comparing to COD4 and although I think COD4 is better overall, this game has some great aspects. What this offers is a destructive environment where pretty much everything can be blown up!! Its superb. You can also ride varous vehicles and fly helicopters. Within that you can take up a variety of roles from firing weapons through to driving. Where I think the game is let down is on the ease of using the weapons. Everything is "jerky", running and firing is not smooth and it can take an age to change between weapons. COD4 is so much smoother. There is very good attention to detail though, especially on the sound. Listening to screams of pain when fellow soldiers go down and the echo inside warehouses is superb. I'd love to see COD4 with the destructible environment and vehicle interaction - that would take FPS to the next level!! Definitely worth buying.

A REAL LET DOWN July 3, 2008 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
The one and only selling point for this game is the fact you can knock down trees and blow holes in walls. Each sounding more fun than it actually is!.. This game has lost out to COD4 in the online FPS market, which is a better game in every other way. I beg you all not to waste your money on this imitation of COD4 and wait for COD5 which is released in the fall '08. Trust me when I say that being able to knock trees down doesnt make a game worthwhile.
This is not a COD4 clone July 3, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
So lets get the obvious question out of the way...this is not a COD4 look-a-like nor is it meant to be. If you enjoy COD4 you may or may not enjoy this game. It's has a more arcadey feel, it's a bit more tongue in cheek, it's a bit more explosion happy (it does have more heavy hardware than COD4) and none of this is a bad thing. I enjoy COD4 but I also enjoy Bad Company but for different reasons (I can't flatten forests or buildings with an AA gun in COD4). The bottom line is that this game is an excellent FPS and brilliant fun BUT more online game types are needed hence the 4.5 stars (this will be fixed!)
I've recommended this to all my friends because it's waht a game should be FUN and everyone should stop trying to compare it to COD4!
