Underrated gem February 11, 2008 This game really is great and has given me and my friends tons of fun. The single player levels are really varied and you can play through the entire single player with a friend - in the same room and also online.
The multiplayer is amazing! Two different modes depending on whether you want an arcade feel or a more realistic experience - I play these all the time online in split screen with my 2 friends round.

Fantastic multiplayer will keep you playing for months
Really varied single player (including split screen co-op and co-op over live).
Bargain Of The Century! December 27, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Ive had this game for a year, bought it second hand, the limited edition.
I'd go for that if you can get it, it contains a DVD (which ive never seen!) and the box and packaging will ensure you never want to sell it.
Recently (Dec 2007) I've really got into it and its FANTASTIC! The music is superb, the weapons amazing, and the controls are very easy to master.
The 2nd stage in the nightclub has to be heard and seen to be believed!
Im pretty sure that a piano version of the power of love by frankie goes to hollywood is used throughout the game, it sounds like it anyway, and greatly atmospheric.
The best thing about this game is that its available for LESS THAN A TENNER! Having completed it, I will never sell it as to me it will always be worth much much more than that. Forget the over-rated Bio-Shock and Halo 3, this one, for 7 or more, is a must.
By the way, have you ever kinda fancied a cyber girl??? This redhead is HOT!
Weak campaign but very strong multiplayer. June 6, 2007 3 out of 6 found this review helpful
Perfect Dark Zero is a prequel to the N64 classic Perfect Dark. However, while still developed by Rare studios it shares very few of the original developers. It has also suffered for this, Perfect Dark Zero feels like a relic. A first person shooter from a different generation of consoles. It has no caught up with the fast paced Halo generation and doesn't really compete. The campaign is very weak, little ties the missions together except for a distracting voice briefing and the levels are often poorly designed with confusing objectives.
The strong side of the game is found in the greatly entertaining multipayer, using Xbox live Perfect Dark Zero is great fun. The maps are wonderfully well designed, the playing is smooth and the games are very fun. Unfortunately this is hampered by a glitch that affects many people only allowing them to match up with people randomly in games.
Perfect Dark is worth buying on the classics range, it is a fair shooter though its strengths lie in multiplayer.
Perfect Dark Zero - Good All Round Fun June 1, 2007 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
Being new to XBOX360 (DEC 2006) I had initially, and foolishly, overlooked this first generation release until approximately a month ago. I shelled out 19.99 for the CLASSIC version of the game and it was money well spent.
You play a futuristic, female version, of James Bond. There is a selection of futuristic gadgets and weaponry at your disposal (unlocked throughout game). The game has 13 single player levels which can be played at 4 different levels of difficulty from AGENT to DARK (hardest level). It is also possible to play CO-OP through the entire game in all difficulties, so if you are looking for CO-OP action , look no further. There are a plethora of XBOX LIVE or LOCAL DEATH MATCH and DARK OPS levels (sabotage - destroy and defend objects, eradication - kill the opposing team, capture the flag - no intro needed, and many more).
The game does look slightly dated but don't let that put you off. The game play is not too dissimilar from the Time Splitters series, anyone who enjoyed the TS series should enjoy this title. In fact this is what makes it such a good game, it is very easy and fun to play, but there is still plenty to keep you challenged in order to earn all 1000 achievement points, if thats your thing.
My favorite feature is the ability to rack up achievement points in LOCAL DEATH and DARK OPS missions, without the need to logon to XBOX LIVE (unlike any other shoot-em-up currently on the market - Gears of War, Lost Planet etc). You can specify the number of BOTS in a match (computer oponents) and their personality. Like the single player mode it is also possible for you to adjust the BOTS skill level to make local DEATH/DARK OPS matches more of a challenge. In other words you can earn every achievement without ever logging on top XBOX LIVE.
If you like shooting games and are not looking for the latest improvement in computer generated games you could do a lot worse than buying this title. At this price its an essential purchase. king lizzard :0)
