Amazon.co.uk Review It's rarely a good sign when a game sells itself on its comedy value as much as its gameplay, but although Destroy All Humans! certainly has its problems it's still a witty and original slice of Sci-Fi hokum. Cast as an evil, Jack Nicholson sounding, alien called Crypto you are sent out to perform the game's titular task in a stylised 1950s America, where the game has good fun poking fun at McCarthy era paranoia and the banality of suburban life. Developed by the same team behind LucasArts' Mercenaries, there are some obvious similarities between the two games. There isn't a single giant game world and you can't go around pinching vehicles but the combat and freedom to explore and destroy virtually anything is very similar. In fact the only vehicle you can pilot is your trusty, and super destructive, UFO, which is parked at a specific spot on each level. On foot you have a range of weapons, including the just-as-painful-as-it-sounds anal probe. You also have a small range of psychic powers, including telekinesis, all of which, along with your weapons and UFO, can be upgraded by collecting people's brains. The problem with the game is that the combat is very shallow and the missions tend to get very samey very quickly. Even the comedy can become repetitive as you hear the same comments again and again. It's no classic for sure, but if the setting and humour appeals you could do a lot worse than Destroy All Humans! -- Harrison Dent

One of my best games July 19, 2007 Use destructive weapons and innate mental powers to take on the most feared enemy in the galaxy--Mankind! Play as Crypto, an alien warrior sent to Earth to clear the way for the Furon invasion force. Your mission is to infiltrate humanity, control them, harvest their brain stems and ultimately destroy them. You choose the method--infiltration or disintegration! Destroy all Humans is one of those essentail games that is a must have for PS2 players. In this game you kill, destroy and hypnotise just about everything. It is a really good game and I strongly recommend this to anyone over the age of 14. Here are some cheats: Enternal life (you cant ever die, this is sssssoooo handy!): Pause the game and hold L2, press;SQUARE, CIRCLE, LEFT BUTTON, LEFT BUTTON, CIRCLE, SQUARE. Unlitmeted ammo: Pause the game and hold L2. Enter R1,R2, CIRCLE, RIGHT BUTTON,R2, CIRCLE Unlimeted Mind power: Pause the game and enter;R1, R2, CIRCLE,RIGHT BUTTON,R2, CIRCLE. Enjoy the game and cheats! (You can get it really cheap off amazon to!!) Thnx

When i saw this game in My recommendations and saw the title I thought "Im a grown-up" why would i wanna buy this game. whats going on? But read other review s and rating and really its not that bad.
-->> The graphic is average. The sounds good. Very quick and easy to get used to the buttons etc. The best thing about Detroy all humans is that you don't have to wait long when loading (Loading, please wait.....) it only takes about 5-6 secs? and you start the mission. The mini clips are not very good (its in black and white).
-->> The missions are simple. Destroy..all..humans.( and other living things such as cow, =) yes i know.. but trust me its so fun.) You also get to "holobob or clone other humans which makes this game so unique. The mini quotes from people on the street are funny as well. You also get to fly your own saucer (space ship) and destroy buildings, etc. This game is top! Read my other reviews for other briliant games.
This is the funnest game EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! February 27, 2007 0 out of 11 found this review helpful
Overall this game is very good. You are an alien set on the destruction of mankind. You can fly around in your saucer and destroy just about everything. This game is worth the money so buy it!!!!!!!!!! NOW!
DESTROY!!!!!!!!!!!! February 27, 2007 1 out of 5 found this review helpful
I LOVE the idea of this game and it doesnt disapoint visually or gameplay wise...
BUT...
There are some aspects which could have been better, if you muff up a mission you have to return to mother ship and start the WHOLE story arc/mission over which becomes infuriating (especially if you cant get a grip on what you are actually supposed to be doing on the mission). Also, the "thoughts" of the people you use your psychic powers on become repetative after a while. Other than that, this is a fun and excellent game, and if they make a sequel, I hope we move from the 50's and get to blow up hippies in the 60's!!! Then pimps and ho's in the 70's, yuppies in the 80's.... oooh the ideas are endless.

This is one of the best games I have ever played. The gameplay is briliant, and the jokes are very funny.
The game is about an alien that comes to earth to collect DNA. It is set in the 1950s, in America.
Destroy All Humans 2 is also good, but not as good.
