1 out of 5 stars Signal blocks, crashes, etc.   September 26, 2005

It's nice not to trip over wires but you need an uninterrupted line of sight other wise you will keep crashing (if you're driving!). It also doen't like it when you need to press two buttons at once (ie accelerate and hand brake), if you do you will keep crashing. Occasionally it seems to drift to one side or the other so (guess what happens?) you keep crashing. You may have noticed a theme through this. I know I am only referring to driving games but sticking and missed signals do happen periodiaclly on any games. I gave up on it and bought another one! (Which seems fine!)

1 out of 5 stars Looks and Feels Great... but that's it...   April 7, 2005

I guess it must be my fillings or something, but I have had 2 of these units, the first was replaced by the Manufacture because it was forever dropping the signal, which is very frustrating I can tell you.

Even more frustrating is the fact that the Replacement (which I had to wait nearly 2 months for) and is apparently a brand new unit, but with no packaging, does exactly the same thing!!! So I am now looking for a replacement unit that is compatible with my fillings...

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic   February 5, 2005

The controller is not as pictured - you must click on the photo to see what it really looks like. It's gorgeous, with translucent gray plastic and rubber grips.

It is a perfect weight (properly balanced, not too heavy), the batteries have yet to run out after a month, and I have not experienced one signal drop-out; this is guaranteed.

Buy one. You won't regret it.

4 out of 5 stars Kinda cool...   August 25, 2004

This controller has the perfect shape and size for most gamers compared to the smaller official one. The distance is very good as i can quiet happily walk upstairs and play the game (well if it's quite an easy game).
The controller is durable cuse i have droped it many times and hasn't broken where as my offical one rattles!
the downside is that the analogue sticks are not as sensitive, as i found out in Tiger Woods PGA 2004 where you can't add much fade/draw (diagonal movements).
The controller is very consistant until the batteries are down to 20% (about) when u will occasionally have to double tap a button.
The reciever is quite large and has two flash lights which may get irritating so just turn the PS2 around (for DVDs etc.)
All in all the best controller in it's field--a good buy.
4 stars 'cuse of the sticks, so have your offical controller ready for those tricky games :)
