4 out of 5 stars Premier Manager 2005   August 22, 2005

This game is a great manager game. The best manager game I've played for the gameboy Advance. I would give this game 9/10.

There are a lot of League's to choose from. Two English League's (Premiership and Championship). Leagu 1 and 2 are not avalible but you can still buy players from League 1 and 2 teams.

I've played 2004 and I thought that was good, but then I bought this and it was better!

There is a lot more to this game than the matches. It's like you are a real manager. Managing the clubs finances. Choosing which players to bring in to the club. Picking the starting 11 and the bench. The chear Man gives you a target at the start of the season. Your aim is to achieve that target. If you stop preforming in Matches or don't achieve your target you could get the sack.

This game is good ( 4 stars)

The game itself is very good!
Some bad points of the game are the loading times(i was waiting nearly 1 hour for it to load once!.
The Match Itself:-
- When is it a goal?
- Ridiculous stoppage time
- Silly sendings off
- No penalty shootout!
- Slow!!

Don't bother.

Premier Manager 2004/2005 is the only series of football management sims on the Game Boy Advance. The game offers 8 divisions from 5 nations respectively.

The nations and divisions available are
England: Premiership and Division 1
Germany: Division 1 and 2
Italy: Division A and B
France: Division 1 and 2

Now looking at that list it's no way near as big as some other management sims eg. Football Manager, LMA Manager 2005. But for the GBA it's satisfactory considering other consoles have more power. in the game you choose a team eg. Southampton and try and take them to glory. If you fail you'll be fired. You get to control all the stuff going on behind the scenes eg. contracts, transfers etc. You get a few pre-determined answers for your coaching staff a bit like Football Manager but not as good. This part is okay but what really sucks and lets down the game itself is the match. The match highlights are atrocious. You have 22 icons as players basically with the match clock being REALLY slow. Also you can never tell when a goal goes in. This is unaccetable. Other problems are drawn out loading times and not being able to use scouts to track players even though there hired for use!?

Good Points
+ Nice interface
+ Management sim on your GBA

Bad Points
- Some questionable loading times
- You can't use your scouts
- The match highlights is the worst I've ever seen past and present

To sum up if your looking for a football management sim on your GBA this is it. Not because it's good but it's the only one you can buy. At the bottom of the ladder of managemant sims without a doubt. 6/10. John Mitchell.
