It was FAKE - it could'nt even store 1GB May 29, 2008 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
THIS WOULD GET ZERO STARS IF I COULD GIVE IT THAT ! I bought it & thought excellent what a bargain only to try and store something on it and i couldn't put the pictures on there. I then tried some documents couldn't store it on it. It was then I knew it was fake and had been ripped off. My advice - i've learnt my lesson from this and i now know that when buying memory sticks buy from your local Curry's/Argos or Sony shop then you can take it back the next day telling them that you'll sue them under the 1979 Sales of Good Act if they either don't give you a proper 4GB memory stick or give you your money back. You'll have to pay more though eg. Argos = 59.99 but its worth the extra expense having the option to take it back the next day if it is not the correct size.

Digiplay sell counterfeit Sony memory sticks! April 23, 2008 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
I bought one of these in February for my Sony Ericsson Walkman phone and it was absolutely amazing. I've transferred almost 900 songs (mp3, 128kbs) to the stick and there are still a couple of hundred megabytes free! I've had no problems with the stick whatsoever.
However I bought another one last week and both my phone and my PC had problems recognising it. I spent several hours transferring hundreds more mp3s to the stick only to find that the files were disappearing or becoming corrupted and unplayable. I sent an e-mail to Digiplay to explain the situation and they were apologetic and offered a replacement, which would have sorted out the problem for me.
A couple of days ago I got the replacement. Same problems as last time, and even Sony's data recovery software didn't recognise the stick. I became suspicious and compared the faulty stick I had just received against the one that worked fine and there were differences in the print quality on the casing, differences in what was actually printed, and minute differences in the design of the casing. Basically it's a FAKE. I have demanded a full refund and if I don't get it I'll be escalating the issue to Amazon, Sony and trading standards.
But if you are lucky enough to have received a genuine Sony memory stick then you will be very happy with your purchase. They are excellent.
does not work, rubbish!!!! April 8, 2008 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
not sure whether it is fake or not but I use the card for my PSP and not only is it not recognised by some games, but it also has corrupted my data several times. All this in 7 days as well! Do not buy from 3rd party suppliers. Amazon, please sort it out!!!
