I used to use Olympus digital cameras (had 2 of them, the lastest one was Mju710) but that brand is not very good and the pictures' colour cannot be compared with Canon's. So I after trying several Canon cameras from my friends (A710 IS, Ixus 70), I decided to purchase this one Ixus 75 in black.
- the big screen is excellent
- takes very good pictures (well my skin looks flawless), all my friends were raving the camera as well, one of them had the Ixus 70 but it's not as good as this one.
- there are some bad reviews about this cameras on other websites (I did some research before purchasing) but I think all the reviewers are professional so their demands are quite high. I find the camera take stunning pics.
Nothing to complain about, the price is affordable as well

The price of this camera has hiked due to the excellent reviews.
I found it online at Dixons for 133 including Canon case, a 2 meg card and delivery. It arrived within 2 days of my order: bonza!

I bought this camera just before going on holiday to Cozumel, Mexico. I decided to get this particular camera due to the excellent reviews it had on Amazon, and I was very happy I did so. It took me a little while to get used to the functions, as I previously had a Kodak but wanted to upgrade. I didnt have time to look at the advanced manual as this is on a CD, but after a 10 hour plane journey, I felt I had mastered most of it! Just one thing to note - even though the battery has charge when you get it, I would advise charging it again, as there was not much life in it at first, but once fully charged it will last a whole day of snapping and video without getting anywhere near empty.
The large screen is great for viewing and you can alter colours (black and white, sepia etc) after taking the photos.
Overall, this is fantastic value for money and would definately recommend it. Also, I would buy a case as it does not come with one (I bought one from Amazon for 11 and it was perfect).
Canon IXUS 75 - Brilliant Camera May 12, 2008

I bought the IXUS 75 after researching for a week or so into all the small digital cameras on the market, and also reading reviews on camera review sites. It was worth every penny. Seen/tested lots of other small cameras in places like Currys and this was definitely the best one. I'm really pleased with it and would recommend to anyone after a small stylish camera with all the good features. The 32MB memory card isn't very big so I bought a 1GB off Amazon for 2.............. I have just noticed the price of the camera has shot up to 182, i bought it off here for 115 about 3 weeks ago. Make sure you shop about!

Got this Canon IXUS 75 the other day and found it to be a great little camera. Was going to get a Sony with a similar spec but after looking at all the reviews found it to be very slow in the shutter department. The reviews of the Canon IXUS 75 are spot on. This is a very fast, smart looking camera with all that you would need to take great shots. Bought the Lowepro Napoli 10 Soft Leather Digital Camera Pouch also. Its top quality and fit's a treat. Go for it, you will not be disappointed with the IXUS 75 or the Lowepro Pouch.
