Wow!! July 5, 2008 I bought these on the strength of the positive reviews here and I've been more than impressed with my purchase. I previously had other ones from this manufacturer that went round my ears that eventually broke but I'd been happy with, however these are WAY better! They are really comfortable to wear in the gym and never fall out and the sound quality is brilliant.
Couldn't recommend them more highly.
Green Wonder June 23, 2008 I've tried many headphones whilst running and most aren't worth bothering with. You can spend a lot of money on a pair with good sound quality but they either fall out, need constant adjustment, or hurt your ears. These Sennheisers are the first pair that I've been completely satisfied with. No matter how much you swing or nod your head, these things just don't move. The fit is pretty much perfect for my ears so much that I don't even notice them on after a long run.
The only slight drawback is that the neckband sometimes gets caught on your clothing, which sounds like someone blowing hard in your ears. Oh, and you have to like green!
Soundwise, they're pretty decent too. I was surprised by how much bass response they offered compared to my Sony in-ear buds. I also like the fact the sound is directed into the side of your ears rather than directly into your eardrum, dampening the trebles and emphasising the bass and mids.
If you do any regular exercise and are looking for a pair of headphones that can take the punishment without sacrificing sound quality, you really can't do any better than a pair of these green wonders.
Will not fit June 11, 2008 Sound quality very good but they will not fit into my ears, try them first as I've now given my pair away.
Stereo Neckband Headphones June 7, 2008 These are ok and i have small ears - they stay in place ok but i have found a bit of a problem if using them with a jacket or other higher collar top as they have a tendancy to move.
This is a pain you don't need during a workout June 2, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
These are a `one size fits all' headphones, which is great if you fit within its size range then you will probably be gushing for joy like the majority of reviewers here. On the other hand, if you fall outside of the size range, like me, then you are going to be in for a painful frustrating experience with this product. The earpieces are made of hard plastic with no cushioning and the neckband is designed to exert pressure on them to keep them in place during sporting activities. Unfortunately there is no means of making adjustments to make them fit comfortably. So if they are not a good fit then they will feel like someone is constantly trying to force hard plastic clothes pegs into your ear holes. Another problem with the design is that the neckband protrudes too far behind the head. This won't be a problem if you are only going to use them for jogging or cycling but if you want to use them in the gym as well, like me, then you are in for another painful experience. Whenever the back of my head came into contact with any surfaces such as benches, headrests or the floor then the neckband would be driven forward causing the earpieces to stab painfully into my ears.
I really tried to make these headphones work as I needed a set that would stay in place during a workout. But after many attempts I had to give them up, they were just too excruciating to use.
If it is at all possible I would advise potential buyers to find a shop, or a friend who has them, who will allow them to try them first before buying, if I had done so I would have known within minutes they were no good for me. On the plus side the sound quality is very good especially if you are an ipod owner.
