Chasing Pavements - awesome May 7, 2008 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
Chasing Pavements in my opinion is one of the best singles of the year! When I first heard it I was blown away, its truly a beauty! The rest of the album is lovely. Adele is definately a rising star!
Give the girl a Chance May 5, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am absolutely amazed at some of the comments that have been given to this album whist she ain't no ms Winehouse quite clearly some credit should be given to her singing ability as she can sing a good tune. I agree that the album isn't the best this year but its only here first and she's only nnnnn nineteen.
This will grow on you!!! May 2, 2008 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I found this album hard to get into at first,I couldn't help making comparisons to Miss Amy, however one month on and this album has now become a firm favourite, it's great to sing along with! Purchase, give it time, it will win you over!
Horrible April 30, 2008 6 out of 9 found this review helpful
A bad bad album!! Chasing Pavements is a terrible single, it is sooo irritating and depressing. You just want to grab the remote control and change over the radio station asap when it comes on and if you can`t do anything to shut her up, even flushing your head down the toilet would be better than listening to Adele!! Cold Shoulder ain`t much cop either, in fact the whole album is dead boring. Buy Madonna`s or Estelle`s album - much better!
Mislead April 16, 2008 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I'm one of those people who'll buy an album based on hearing one song. How I wish I'd heard more. Maybe it's simply not to my taste but I found it rather slow and uninspired. That said, I can always use it as a drinks coaster.
