Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Good images, easy to search, but very slow   February 29, 2008
This is a very useful selection of images, including photos, vector line art, sketches, cartoons, woodcuts, realistic, arty, abstract, colour and mono. All the images come on the 3 discs supplied, so you don't have to download from the internet or sign up to anything, and they're royalty free. The keyword search feature works well, and you can choose to save images from the disc in various formats onto your hard drive. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because it is incredibly slow - searching, reading the discs, just loading the software, all takes an age even on my fast Mac. But the quality of the images and ability to find relevant pictures by keyword searching makes this a very useful tool and you can spend much longer browsing other collections without finding such useful artwork.

2 out of 5 stars don't bother   October 11, 2007
the format is slow and old fashioned, the disks take ages to load up and the programme crashes regularly on my relatively high speed mac. it is true there is plenty of choice but nothing that is up to date and inspiring. I was disappointed.

3 out of 5 stars Tool is useful; but the marketing lacks integrity.   September 25, 2007

This is a very useful tool, and contains what it says it contains. It is not too easy to use; browsing is difficult if you are searching by theme rather than subject. What is annoying however, is the marketing on the "registration form", which says among other things, "Your [contact] information will be used to supply tehnical support information, product upgrade details, new product releases and special offers on the FastTrak range of products". In other words, if you tick that you don't want the junk, they won't supply you with technical support. I will not purchase any other items from this manufacturer; I found this manipulation distasteful.

4 out of 5 stars Everything you need!   October 31, 2006

I recently purchased the 800,000 clipart for Mac and really find it easy to use. The browser is straight forward. I simply type what I'm looking for in the search box and it comes up in the preview window. I find the pictures that I need and there is so much to choose from. I'm using my clipart at work mainly for Powerpoint presentations. If you are looking for a good clipart package that is easy to use this is the one. The other thing I really like is all that clipart is on three disks.

A really useful tool for the mac - Just about any image you will ever need for advertising, marketing, website and fun! It is such a bargain for what it is. The one drawback I have found is that if you just want to browse ALL the images, it is quite slow and can be frustrating when after you have saved one, it hops back to the start again and you have to scroll back to where you were, (as there are so many images it sometimes takes a while) My top tip is to expand the thumbnail viewer to as large as your screen will go to save a bit of time. All in all it is recommended if you can see past this small fault.
