I bought this sigma 70-200mm zoom lenses for my new Nikon D200 because I did not want to spend 1300 GBP on the Canon equivalent 70-200mm L lens. I have used the sigma 70-200mm lens indoor in a church and also outdoor in football game, the result was suburb, I was thinking in the first time that I have done mistake I bought this sigma lens, by taking some shots with sigma 70-200mm it is really almost the same as that canon 70-200mm L and also half price,
The constant aperture f2.8 makes the sigma 70-200 more important in indoor photography for professional and armatures.
The focusing system of this lens is very smooth you do not need to switch it between MF and AF you can use manual focus while you have the camera setting on manual focus. The Sigma 70-200mm lens comes with ready lens hood which you would not need to buy separately. The weight is not bad you can carry around easily.
In short words if you like to save money and get the best lens so go for it, |
