I have good experience with my Sigma 24-70mm DG lens working with my Canon EOS 10D, recently I needed to have a good and reliable telephoto Zoom lens for an car race event, I went out to try the Canon 70-200mm USM lens but the price was out of my budget (more than 800 GBP), I was suggested by a friend of mine the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG HSM zoom lens, I tried one of the 70-200mm f/2.8 DG HSM lens and found not much difference between the two in result and image quality in low light condition.
The 70-200mm f/2.8 DG HSM lens from Sigma has the same weight as Canon. It equips with HSM motor as a result it does fast, smooth, fast and quite focus, the front element does not rotate it makes it easy to use the polarizer filter. |
