Am I the only one who found this quite pointless? June 26, 2008 Ive used this for approx 1/2hr an evening 5times a week for the past month & can see no difference whatsoever on the firmness of my legs or tummy, other than a general fitness level becoming somewhat better. Has anyone else had the same results or lack thereof?
poorly designed/constructed piece of equipment, I'm afraid May 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was disappointed with myself that I didn't pay more attention to the bad reviews that I read about this stepper. The concept is a good one; unfortunately the equipment has been designed so poorly, it was fit for the bin within the first month.
My advice to you if you are looking for a good, reasonably priced stepper is to go for the one sold at Boots or similar. The system is much better - without the chain that fails the Dygraf LTT.
Great workout but broke after 4 months May 11, 2008 I've been using the LTT regularly since January and think it gives a great workout - easy and fun to use, light and easy to store, gets your heart rate up without feeling totally breathless (with this plus diet I've lost 2 stone in 4 months). BUT the chain on mine has just snapped, which a) hurt and b) renders the machine useless.
As someone else said, 5 stars for the quality of the workout but 1 star for the build quality of the product.
Great April 9, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My sister and I bought two of these (one each), one from a reputable sports store and one from an internet store (bought Cheaply). They both state they are the Brenda degraf LTT with all the stickers and DVD etc... this is where the similarity ends. On closer inspection the cheaper version is no where near the quality of the original.. the nuts dont go into the holes properly, after a few weeks the step itself cracked at the back and when you look underneath - OMG - the cheap one is just soldered everywhere and anywhere... not the smooth steel tubes on the more expensive one..
My sister still uses the cheap one - she gets the same work out only every time she steps it squeaks.. I am way heavier than her and mine doesnt make a peep.
After completing the DVD work out I am sweating like a pig and my legs are like jelly - and I am only on the second easiest setting! I have muscles that I never had before and I have been loosing some weight - not a whole lot but muscles weighs more that flab so I am not too worried!
I do highly recommend this product.. its a bit heavy to carry around the house but other than that I find its a great work out thats easy to slip into a busy lifestyle...
