5 out of 5 stars A superb fitness DVD   August 1, 2006

I have to say that I bought this DVD because it looked really fresh 'even a little different to all the 'C rate celeb fitness titles' on the shelf. And I am really glad I did. It is simple and easy to follow, and has good workouts for more advanced users. And more than that, it is really professionally produced in beautiful surroundings with a fresh modern look and sound. Well recommended.

5 out of 5 stars I Have Rolled off The Pounds......   July 11, 2006

As stated on the DVD, this workout is designed to burn fat and lose weight fast. After a couple of workouts, it has definitely done that for me.....

The DVD takes you through a warm up, a full aerobic routine, a fat burning circuit, tummy toning and a stretch. I was amazed at how much I could do with a Gymball, I had got as far as sitting on it.....The routines are fun and diverse, the music is funky and Lucy gives great encouragement - a great DVD that I would highly recommend

5 out of 5 stars At last a proper aerobic workout with the ball!   June 22, 2006

This DVD is fun, fun, fun...by the time I get to the end of the workout I am really sweating and feel like I have had a proper fat burning session! I have actually lost 1/2 a stone since I have started doing this DVD 3x a week. It is clear and easy to follow, but complicated enough to keep you interested.

3 out of 5 stars Nice moves, shame about the music   January 21, 2006

I bought this DVD as I have gym ball and don't really know what to do with it other than sit on it.
I don't know who Lucy Knight is, so I took a chance on how good she might come across. Her exercises are very good and she has an assistant doing the "beginner moves" next to her while she does the more advanced ones - so you can follow whoever you like depending on how fit you are. This is an excellent idea as you can progress with it and therefore it's good value for money.
The two women are filmed outdoors in what looks like a Greek or Spanish villa's courtyard and balcony. The voice over is Lucy's (she's not speaking while she's doing the exercise) and the music is a monotonous "clubbing" beat - maybe it was filmed in Ibiza or Ayanapa. It started to annoy me after a while as it was just the same beat over and over again. As the exercises were quite repetitive, this didn't help with the boredom. Music is so important when it comes to exercise so I'm not sure why better tracks weren't used. Also, Lucy tends to talk too much.
Anyway, once you've learned the moves by heart you can turn the volume down and stick your own choice of CD on in the background.
Also, you need quite a bit of space to do the exercise as there is lots of waving the ball the around, so be careful of those ornaments! I recommend this DVD if you want something different.
