 Malfunctioned in 3 months July 24, 2008
I bought this product back in April and was happy enough with it, however three months on and having only used it about twenty times, it has began to malfunction, the vibration falters and is very weak and therefore the machine is now useless.
Also, if you live in a flat, take note, my neighbours downstairs did not appreciate the noise and vibrations the machine made as it carried through my floor and into their flat.

I ordered this on Amazon but because of restricted delivery (Mon-Fri 8am to 6pm) had to have it delivered to my place of work and pay 12 to get it home in a taxi.
Having got it home I found the assembly kit to put it together was missing.
Amazon said they would replace item but a) 4-6 wks delay and b) would not refund taxi fare so, this would cost me an additional 24!!!
Rang Carl Lewis spares who ordered the parts but could be weeks before they come in, cannot give me a date.
Rang Carl Lewis Customer Service who had no alternative suggestion. So, I just have to wait weeks until I can even test out something which I have paid for already!!!!
Thumbs down to Carl Lewis!!!

I rate this vibration trainer by Carl Lewis highly, having compared it to many others for good value, ease of use and space needed to store it. It takes up very little room, is not too heavy to move as it has wheels, comes with a booklet showing different excercise positions and is very easy to use. It has a choice of levels so you can start on the lowest level and gradually go to the higher level, as you feel your muscles improving, and if you choose to you can just stand on the plate for ten minutes if feeling very unfit, but by doing the easy positions shown on the console you do feel the benefit and it does have a good effect on your wobbly bits! It's good for circulation problems too, as my legs no longer ache and from day one of using it, no more restless leg syndrome. It was worth it just for that improvement! If you can't get to a gym, or don't want to, then this is the thing for you, although I'm not sure if it would suit serious fitness fanatics, but it's great for health benefits and a steady improvement of muscle tone. Amazon were very quick delivering it within two days, so great all round.
