I purchased my JCB HT 60600 hedge trimmer as a result of the positive reviews on this page and was not disappointed. This is an excellent tool that does what you expect it to, i.e. trims effortlessly, cuts anything that fits the cutter without any loss of cutting speed or power, it is light and easy to handle, especially when leaning over to cut the tops of hedges and is ultra safe to handle. I have a number of large hedges including beech, hawthorne, quickthorn, oak, laurel and a long but low lavender hedge; it makes easy work of the tough ones and leaves a very clean cut on the finer ones. Clean and oil it after each use and I believe you won't be shopping for a replacement for a very long time. Thanks to those reviewers who helped me make the right choice.

Well worth the money. It looks like a JCB and feels like a JCB and after the first 3 uses I am highly satisfied.

over the years i have had many hedge trimmers from hand shears to Electrical cutters the JCB being my 4th electric cutter and the best thing since sliced bread was put on the market. I bought mine over the internet from Amazon who gave me excellent service used it 4 days affter ordering and was amazed with the ease it cut and with the longer reach the job was done in half the time well done JCB for this perfect hedge cutter at a reasonable price.

I purchased the hedge trimmer a few months ago and have used it twice now. The build quality feels good and it has a good length of cable too.The trimmer length is also good allowing you to cut even deep hedges hith relative ease. Overall I have absolutely no complaints and think that it is excellent value for money.

The JCB-HT60600 is 'excellent value'; for the money paid you are getting a great product. Easy to use with good safety mechanisms (I'm going to sound a bit DIY SOS here, but: safety goggles should be worn if cutting shrubs with needles ... I speak from experience :-) ). High quality cut ...... Perfect first time. My only criticism (as a girlie) is that this may initially appear heavy to some; but within minutes I did get used to the weight. I would highly recommend this product.
