Customer Reviews:
Fundamentally didn't work for me June 11, 2008 I have now been running this device in my flat for more than a month to attempt to dislodge an invasion of spiders. Unfortunately it has had no effect at all.
Highly effective but very short life! June 2, 2008 This unit got rid of a colony of very large rats in my attic here in South Africa within 24 hours. I was very impressed as these rats had been there for 3 months.
The downside is that the unit has a problem when it is switched off and on again or when unplugged and plugged in again. This seems to produce a voltage spike that damages electronic components inside and renders the unit unusable.
The unit claims that a 3A fuse is inside. On investigating there are certainly no fuses to be found there.
I called the manufacturers who tried to blame this on South African plug adapters. Howewer the same problem has also occurred in Europe to my knowledge.
I don't see why a unit such as this should fail; it's technically feasible to prevent that. If it's a sort of built-in obscelescne I think it's immoral.
But I'm very glad it got rid of these huge rats so fast. For that reason alone I would strongly disagree with the view of the "Useless!" review that also appears here.

a complete waste of time and money! i may as well have just put my money in the bin and welcomed the mice into my home, this device did nothing to stop them! i have used the elecronic rat killer to catch 7 mice so far, nothing else has worked and i am awaiting a visit from pest control!
