If you've longed to see again those magic television shows that Kenny Everett did in the early eighties, here is a brief overview of his characters and sketches from the shows.
I couldn't even read the cover without having a chuckle to myself....and the spiderman sketch.....if you like silly, this IS silly!!

I vaguely remembered watching Kenny Everett as a child, but had forgotton about him for some years. Spotting the video at amazon, I decided to risk buying it - usually what i judged as "great stuff" as a pubescent girl doesn't appeal to me THAT MUCH anymore today. Not so with Kenny - this classic collection of sketches features all the well-known characters we've come to treasure, going from crude to worse and yet, due to some undefinable gift, Kenny manages to bring it off IN THE BEST POSSIBLE TASTE; there are even some astonishingly precise and sensitive characterisations that come quite unexpectedly. Any road up - well worth it!

I'm pleased to say that my memory has not played a trick on me. He is even better than I remembered. Kenny Everett is one of the most underated comedians (if you can call him that) ever. All of his characters get a look in on this video. My personal favourite being Cupid Stunt! It is non-stop laughs all the way. A fitting tribute to a genius.
