Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars WELCOME BACK BET   November 1, 2000
3 out of 5 found this review helpful

This special gains four stars from me purley because it sees the much welcome return of Julie Goodyear as Bet Gilroy. The special has many amusing moments and on the whole is good but the low key ending is a real let down and when viewing it on video it can be hard to stick too but when watched at your own place its very enjoyable. The best and funniest lines go to Bet Gilroy although Reg Holdsworth has his moments too. Its a return to traditional Coronation Street and the witty humour shines through and plays an integral part in this special. This video also boasts some unseen behind the scenes footage and interviews with the cast involved. Recommended to big fans of Coronation Street.
