Summerslam 1999 is a great event. 9 matches, 6 titles on the line, here are the matches (in order):1: WWF Intercontinental and European Championships
D'Lo Brown (Champion) VS. Jeff Jarrett
A good opening match. Jeff Jarrett sends Debra to the back, then she comes out with D'Lo! This match has a SURPRISE ENDING. 7/10
2: Tag Team Turmoil
Edge & Christian VS. Hardy Boyz VS. Mideon and Viscera VS. Droz and Prince Albert VS. Acolytes VS. Hardcore Holly and Crash
Another good match. Lots of different styles in this match. E&C do pretty well, but do they go all the way...? 8/10
3: WWF Hardcore Championship
Big Boss man (Champion) VS. Al Snow
This match never even makes it to the ring. They fight all over the arena, and even to a bar across the road. Road Dogg following the action makes it even better. 9/10
4: WWF Women's Championship
Ivory (Champion) VS. Tori
A typical women's match. Not TOO bad. 5/10
5: Lion's Den Weapons Match
Steve Blackman VS. Ken Shamrock
The 'Lethal Weapon' VS. 'The World's Most Dangerous Man'. This is a brutal match. A good effort by both men. 8/10
6: Greenwich Street Fight
Shane McMahon VS. Test
This is a great hardcore match. Shane does his elbow drop to the announce table. 9/10
7: WWF Tag Team Championships
Kane and X-Pac (Champions) VS. The Undertaker and Big Show
This match was all about whether X-Pac could survive against two huge superstars. 8/10
8: Kiss My Ass Match
The Rock VS. Mr. Ass Billy Gunn
Mr. Ass brings out 'one full-sized lady' as JR puts it. And says that 'when' he beats The Rock, he'll have to kiss HER ass! This was a good match. 8/10
9: Triple Threat Match for the WWF Championship
Stone Cold Steve Austin (Champion) VS. Triple H VS. Mankind
with Special Referee Jesse Ventura
This was a great main event. Ventura's refereeing is good. All 3 men put on a good Triple Threat Match. 9.5/10
Overall, this is a brilliant PPV you should own.
