There is something utterly enchanting about Fred Dibnah's unaffected celebrity. His hosts at the various sites visited in these six programmes are disarmed by his easy going enthusiasm and expertise. Although there is a feeling of haste as Dibnah criss-crosses the nation, the programmes are full of insights as familiar landmarks are looked at very very closely!
