Sadly, I've never really managed to use this tape quite as often as her first one. I like the idea of the class doing the exercises/movements with you. This one is definitely more advanced movements and fine if you can work away on your own.

I have to admit, I've got sort of a love/hate relationship with "Super Callanetics." But please, allow me to explain why:
1. It lacks the fun, friendly atmosphere of Callan Pinckney's first video "Callanetics."
2. She goes so fast from one exercise to the next that there's barely enough time to position yourself. (Keep that remote handy, folks!)
3. It's so advanced I have to modify almost every single exercise just to keep from killing myself.
4. In spite of all the above, IT WORKS!
It really does. You may not believe this, but after using this tape only 3 times, I can already see a pronounced difference in my body, especially where the thighs and bum are concerned. Heck, if this keeps up, I can't wait to see what happens after 10 or 20 sessions!
One thing I learned from doing Callan's first video is you've GOT to relax your body from the inside out, especially your knees and your lower back. I never thought I'd be doing "The Pelvic Rotations" and "The Pelvic Scoop" due to my own crummy knees, but I gradually learned to let go and slowly built my strength up. Just don't force anything. With these tiny, pulsating movements, followed by intense stretches, your muscles are working more deeply than you realize. (Think Lotte Berk method, only better.)
Overall, I have to give this tape a resounding two thumbs up. If you do "Super Callanetics" just twice a week, in between aerobic conditioning, you'll have a better body than you've ever had in your life.

I have used the Super Callanetics VHS for 14 years now. I began with the suggested Callenetics tape and then progressed to the Super Callanetics program as advised. I love the exercises! Callan Pinkney's instruction is clear, concise and relaxing. The exercises have firmed and strengthened by body for all these years! I have received many comments about my gracefulness and youthful appearance ( I am now 52 yrs. old). The exercises are a wonderful stress reliever as well. The stretches alone are worth owning the tape for! If you simply listen to her instruction and follow it carefully you will feel and see the results.

you mould definatley have to try the original callanetics, because it does take a few weeks to get the hang of it. once you have mastered that video, you can move on to this. within weeks I had gone down to my lowest weight ever. my hips and bum toned, and stomach went flat. I would recommend it to anyone.

This video is for people who liked the other video's of Callan Pickney. This is a more difficult and advance exercise programme and you have to at least done the exercise programme of the other video (Beginning Callanetics/Callenetics or Callanetics -AM/PM) 10 times to be sure that you know the routine.It is a real great exercise programme with more exercises which are even more effective than the ones you already know. I really like it because I has changed my body. A friend of mine teaches at the sportschool and she told me that callanetics is one of the exercise programmes which has the best results.
